EDGELARKS (UK)

The Edgelarks (Phillip Henry and Hannah Martin) is award winning acoustic duo based in the south west of England. Their music unites strong roots in the traditional musics of the British Isles, with influences as far reaching as Indian classical music, and American blues. Original songwriting combines with traditional numbers; fiddle and dobro combines with beatbox harmonica and double vocals; together they create a sound like no other.

In 2013 they released their second studio album, Mynd, to huge critical acclaim, garnering rave reviews from national newspapers including The Guardian, The Daily Telegraph, and the Financial Times. At the beginning of 2014 they were awarded the Best Duo prize at the BBC Folk Awards, at a star studded ceremony broadcast on national television and held in the Royal Albert Hall, London.

Watershed, Henry and Martin's keenly anticipated third studio album, is their most emotionally charged, personal and pertinent work to date. A collection of 12 inspired original songs and tunes, recorded live with The Watershed Band in Devon's Blackdown Hills
